BZUG Energy Sp. z o.o. specializes in the acquisition and sale of cenospheres. The company has its own production in Kazakhstan and a warehouse in Poland. BZUG Energy Sp. z o.o. sells its cenospheres mainly to European markets.
Cenospheres are inert, hollow spheres consisting of silica and alumina, filled with gas (mostly carbon dioxide and/or nitrogen). It is a by-product of coal combustion with thermal power plants.
Main advantages of cenospheres: reduce product weight, provide low thermal conductivity, increase fluidity and temperature resistance (> 1200°C), fillers with spherical shape , low level of oil absorption.
Typical parameters:
- light grey to almost white color,
- humidity < 0.5 %,
- specific gravity 0.6 – 0.9 g/cm³,
- hydraulic crash (3000 psi) – 30-45 m/m,
- Al2O3 > 30 %,
- SiO2 > 55 %,
- fractions: 100 µ, 150 µ, 300 µ, 500 µ.
